Saskatoon Girl Geek Dinner #2 Nov 17

Saskatoon Girl Geek Dinners round deux will be held at Point2 Technologies Inc. on Monday, November 17th at 6:00pm. I am working with the Point2 Administrative team to finalize the details on the catered meal but I hope to make it cost $15 or less. Pop, water and coffee/tea will be included with the meal.

You should also contact me if you are a student who is interested in attending and would like to be sponsored by Point2. Let me know what course you are attending and what year you are in. There are a set number of sponsored spots available from Point2 and they will be given out on a first come first served basis.

And lastly, please contact me if you are interested in presenting or leading a discussion group. I would like to have complete details finalized within the next 2 weeks.

I know that many of you have a lot of knowledge to share. Don’t be shy!

July 21 Girl Geek Dinner

On July 21st between 6pm and 9pm the first Saskatoon Girl Geek dinner will take place at the Venice House on Central Ave.  Deirdre Bonnycaste will be presenting on using Web 2.0 for faculty development.

The presentation will be 10-20 minutes.  The remainder of the dinner will be used for everyone to get acquainted and brainstorm ideas for future presenters and topics.

Based on response to the facebook event and through email we are expecting about 20 attendees.
